Cognitive Map of the Enterprise of the Future (under development)

powered by TheBrain®

In the Enterprise of the Future, the guiding principle of Learning is:

  • Creating the best environment for leading a balanced and fulfilled life

The three focus areas for Learning are:

  • Personal Growth
  • Organizational Growth

  • Environment

The attributes of Personal Growth are:

  • People are passionate about their work, and are driven by a greater goal

  • Each individual knows his/her strengths/weaknesses and has a personal development plan

The attributes of Organizational Growth are:

  • The organization "knows what it knows" and grows it

  • Personal knowledge contributes to organizational knowledge and vice versa

  • Attracting, retaining, and growing talent are given high priority

 The attributes of Environment are:

  • Human and organizational performance are the main drivers for designing work environments (as opposed to cost minimization, such as square footage, etc.)

  • Workspaces integrate physical, information, cognitive and organizational needs

  • Compensation systems are performance-based, and take risk vs. reward into account
